OUR MISSION is to have fun while encouraging young athletes to participate in running as a life long sport!

Welcome to the Weston Jr. Striders. We are a running club based in Weston, Florida, for kids and teens ages 8 and up. We welcome all abilities and will work with the kids to determine which events each child is best suited for. We'll participate in age group track meets and local 5k races.

The 2010 season will begin on Monday, February 1 at the Cypress Bay High School track. Like last year, we will start out on Mondays and Wednesdays for a few weeks, then switch to Mondays and Fridays for about 6 weeks and then back. This is to accommodate our schedule and to support the high school track team.
